How many treatments will I need?

Most patients begin with a series of three treatments spaced approximately four weeks apart. Depending on the cause and extent of hair thinning, additional sessions or maintenance treatments every three to six months may be recommended. Your treatment plan will be personalized based on your scalp health, hair-loss pattern, and response to treatment.

Most patients can return to their normal daily activities shortly after treatment. The scalp may appear red or feel tender, tight, or mildly swollen for one to three days. Temporary pinpoint bleeding, sensitivity, or mild bruising may also occur. Your provider will give you instructions regarding hair washing, exercise, and scalp products following treatment.
