Our program consists of a series of weekly subcutaneous injections (that we can give you or you can be taught to give yourself) to help make you feel fuller, faster, and longer. The medication used is called semaglutide. This is a glucagon-like peptide (GLP-1) analog approved in 2017 as a treatment method for improving glycemic control in Type 2 diabetic patients and showed great success in weight loss. Another medication used for weight loss is Tirzepatide. Both medications are GLP-1 agonists with Tirzepatide having two different mechanisms of action.

• Both Tirzepatide and Semaglutide have demonstrated appetite suppression, improved control of eating, less food cravings, and improved glycemic control.

• A series of office appointments will be required. An initial vitals/physical health assessment appointment is followed by another appointment to teach injections and monthly weigh-ins.

• At Skinnovations, we not only look at your BMI as an indicator of treatment but also your health history, family history, waist circumference measurement, and height/waist ratio percentage.

 

In order to provide our patients with concierge support, we have developed a weight loss support membership with medical oversight.
