Meet Anna, Nurse Practioner & Founder of Skinnovations
Anna Wicklund, MSN, NP, CANS, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She started her aesthetics career training and worked with three board-certified plastic surgeons in the operating room. She quickly fell in love with the art and science of aesthetic medicine and knew aesthetics and wellness were her passions. Anna has completed extensive continuing education and certifications in aesthetics, including the title of Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist. She is a national trainer for the Cosmetic Medical Training team. She has written and published two articles in the Plastic and Aesthetic Nursing Journals. She speaks annually at the International Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Nurses meeting and has also served on the faculty.

She has served on the Medical Advisory Board panel for Evolus aesthetics. She has attended multiple advanced injectable trainings across the United States. She has completed Allergan’s Master Injector educational training, performed live model advanced trainings, and trained other medical professionals in the field of aesthetics.

Anna’s ever-evolving knowledge, personable demeanor, and eagerness to help others help her create detailed and personalized treatment plans to help her patients look and feel their best. Her love for the art of aesthetic medicine and knowledge of facial anatomy allows her to provide safe and natural results. She is dedicated to developing long-term relationships with her patients and works very hard to ensure every patient’s goals are understood and achieved. Her facial artistry is achieved using prescribed medical-grade skin care, dermal fillers, neuromodulators, plated-derived growth factor therapy, intense pulse light therapy, Sculptra injections, and lifestyle coaching.
Anna recognizes the need to support her patients on their journey to wellness; this extends from prescriptive skincare to prescriptive weight loss medications if deemed appropriate. She is your wellness coach and is here to help you live your best life. When Anna isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has two energetic young boys and loves to golf, ski, hike, stay active, learn, read medical journals (yes, for real), and cruise the boat with the family.
