What is Laser Vein Treatment?
Laser vein treatment uses targeted laser energy to eliminate unsightly and unwanted veins, capillaries, and vascular lesions on the face and legs. Our laser technology is used to safely and effectively reduce the appearance of spider veins and deep blue veins that appear on the legs by redirecting the blood flow back to the deeper veins within the skin.

This treatment is ideal for those with unwanted spider or reticular veins on the face or legs and is safe for all skin tones. It’s a great alternative for patients who wish to avoid injections, such as those used in sclerotherapy.

Common concerns treated include telangiectasias and spider veins. The laser precisely targets visible veins or broken capillaries, causing them to collapse and be naturally absorbed by the body. Smaller veins often respond in just 1–2 sessions, while others may require additional treatments depending on the size, color, and number of veins.

Most patients begin to see results within 2 to 6 weeks post-treatment. With minimal bruising, no painful injections, and little to no downtime, this is a safe, effective option for clearer, smoother skin. Your provider will customize a treatment plan tailored to your needs during your consultation.

What to Expect During Your Treatment
Your laser vein treatment will begin with a consultation, where your provider will evaluate the areas of concern and determine the best course of action based on your skin type and the type of veins being treated. Before the procedure begins, the skin will be cleansed, and you may be given protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the laser light.

A cooling gel or device may be applied to the skin to enhance comfort. The provider will then use a specialized handpiece to deliver controlled pulses of laser energy directly to the targeted veins. Most patients describe the sensation as a mild snapping or warming feeling. The treatment is relatively quick—typically lasting 15 to 45 minutes depending on the area being treated—and no injections or incisions are involved.

Afterward, you may experience mild redness, swelling, or a warming sensation, which usually subsides within a few hours. You’ll be given specific post-care instructions to support healing and maximize your results. Most patients can return to their normal routine immediately after the session.
Post Laser Vein Treatment
After your laser vein treatment, it's normal to have mild redness, swelling, or a warming sensation in the treated area—these typically resolve within a few hours to a couple of days. Veins may appear darker before fading, which is part of the natural healing process. For best results, avoid sun exposure for 1–2 weeks and use broad-spectrum sunscreen daily. Skip hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours, and hold off on using retinoids or exfoliants until cleared by your provider. Avoid alcohol and blood thinners (unless prescribed) for the first 24 hours, and don’t pick at any flaking or scabbing skin. Most people return to regular activities right away, and as your skin heals over the following weeks, treated veins will gradually fade. Additional sessions may be recommended based on your progress.
