What is Dysport?
Dysport is an FDA-approved neuromodulator used to smooth out dynamic wrinkles in the face and neck by temporarily relaxing muscle movement. It works by blocking nerve signals to targeted muscles, softening fine lines and preventing deeper wrinkles from forming. Results look natural and can last up to 3-4 months depending upon dose.

In the cosmetic realm, Dysport is commonly used to treat forehead lines, crow’s feet, frown lines, and bunny lines, offering a youthful, refreshed appearance. Beyond aesthetics, Dysport has valuable medical uses, including treating chronic migraines, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), muscle spasticity, and neck spasms (cervical dystonia).

Its versatility makes it a popular, quick, and virtually painless option for both cosmetic enhancements and medical conditions, with customizable results tailored to individual needs.

What to Expect During Your Treatment
During your Dysport treatment, a fine needle will be used to inject the product into specific muscles, with the process typically taking 10-20 minutes. Most people experience minimal discomfort, often described as a small pinch. The number of injections will depend on the treatment area, your individual anatomy, and your specific goals. Your provider will take a personalized approach to ensure natural-looking results that align with your desired outcome.
Post Dysport Treatment
After the treatment, you may notice small bumps or mild swelling at the injection site, but this typically resolves shortly thereafter. Bruising is also a possibility, though it generally fades within a few days.

Following your treatment, your provider will recommend that you avoid lying down, rubbing the treated area, or engaging in strenuous exercise, or sweating for 4 to 6 hours.
